New features in version 2.8 are standardization of names and the ability to open certificates from test results.
In addition to the name in country-specific spelling, the name is now also displayed in standardized Latin spelling in each certificate.
You can now retrieve your EU COVID digital test certificate directly from the test result in the app, if a certificate is available. This feature is only available for Android so far, but will be available for iOS in the future.
